Celia is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with people across all ages and stages of life. Celia’s warm, gentle, non-judgmental approach cultivates safety and connection.

This safe connection forms the foundational therapeutic alliance, which is the container for the person to feel present and securely supported. With continual safety and attunement, Celia works collaboratively with the person, as they go inside and make sense of what is feeling problematic and create positive transformative change. Celia’s counselling practice is always person centred and affirming of all diversity.

Celia teaches people about and incorporates the awareness of the Autonomic Nervous System, using Polyvagal Theory and incorporates Somatic Experiencing  to foster emotional self-regulation.
