Karla is a registered psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar who completed a Doctor of Clinical and Forensic Psychology. Prior to becoming a psychologist, she spent more than 15 years working as a clinician and clinical leader supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing trauma, family violence, sexual abuse, and other complex life challenges.
Karla provides a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported. She works collaboratively with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, grief and loss, life transitions, and the impacts of family violence and abuse. She also has experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism. Karla tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, drawing on their strengths to build practical skills and enhance wellbeing to support meaningful change.
