Ange O’Connor

Relationship Counsellor

Ange is an empathic and compassionate counsellor who supports individuals, couples, and families to strengthen connection, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Through the development of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, she creates space for clients to explore their experiences with curiosity and growing self-awareness. Working collaboratively, she honours each person’s unique story and supports them to make sense of their experiences in ways that feel meaningful, empowering, and aligned with their values. She believes that with insight, reflection, and practical support, people can cultivate emotional balance, self-compassion, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Ange has extensive experience designing and facilitating programs including programs for children, and relationship-focused workshops. She has worked across community and educational settings, supporting people through life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and personal growth. Her approach is warm, inclusive, and grounded in connection, creating spaces where individuals, couples, and families feel supported to reflect, learn, and grow.

Ange takes an integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based modalities and treatment models, including Family Therapy, Integrative Couples Counselling, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

As a formally trained yoga teacher, Ange gently incorporates mindfulness and body-based awareness into her therapeutic work when it feels supportive for clients. She believes meaningful change can occur when we pay attention to both our thoughts and how we experience emotions in our bodies. Ange offers simple, practical tools to help clients slow down, tune in, and build emotional awareness, regulation, and resilience in ways that feel comfortable and empowering.

Outside of her professional work, Ange values maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle, including yoga, meditation, fitness, dancing, cooking, and travel. She also enjoys riding her Vespa, and exploring experiences that nourish mind, body, and spirit.
