I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and registered counsellor with over 25 years of experience. I specialise in working with children and adolescents with eating disorders (including Anorexia Nervosa; Bulimia Nervosa; Binge Eating Disorder; Avoidant Restrictive Eating Disorders (ARFID) & Atypical Anorexia Nervosa (ANN); disordered eating, and body image issues.


I am extremely passionate about working with parents and providing counselling to assist them in working through and helping navigate the complexities of living with a young person with an eating disorder.


I have recently worked with young people and their families in the Paediatric Mental Health unit at the Austin Hospital, Eating Disorders Victoria; St Vincent’s Health BETRS day program and have worked privately for many years counselling adolescents, adults, and families with eating disorders. I use a range of treatment modalities that include- FBT (Family-based therapy); AFT (adolescent-focused therapy); schema therapy; emotion-focused therapy and motivational counselling.


I have previously worked at Latrobe University in various roles, which include coordinating the undergraduate nutrition course; teaching and tutoring in the nutrition and dietetics program as well have taught both primary and secondary school students.
